#ThisIsLove

2021 – The Year of Great Global Love!

Happy New Year! With the bar being set really low, 2021 can only be off to a great start, and one we’ve declared of healing and great global love! If we learned anything from 2020, it’s that love for one another will keep us safe and take us over the finish line of these unprecedented times.

To honor and celebrate big and little efforts made all over the world, Greenland Ruby fabricated our own heart-shaped cabochons to inspire designers to dream up jewelry with LOVE in mind and give consumers a ‘call to action’ to celebrate love in their own special ways.

The heart-shape is one of the most recognized symbols in the world, crossing cultures and traditions, and carrying many subtleties of meaning. It has long been recognized as not just a symbol of LOVE but also sentimentality, passion, charity, and joy.

#ThisIsLove by Greenland Ruby

Heart-shapes have long been referred to and believed to be the core of one’s humanity. #Thisislove campaign was inspired by red hearts on white t-shirts, symbolizing and giving thanks to front-line health-care workers during the lockdown of 2020. Greenland Ruby quickly went to work to create our own symbols of love and thanks – our gorgeous heart-shaped cabochons came in a range of colors, and are cut to calibrations, 4,5,6 and 7mm.

Stay tuned for our next story where we’ll look at how the heart-shape has evolved and transformed through time. To be continued…
